VISUALIZATION & ILLUSTRATION

Whether I was rendering, illustrating in photoshop, or putting together concepts, my role on the catalogue team revolved around composing images which explored architecture and merchandise pairings. The images began as visual tools to explore new concepts and were refined until they were ready to be recreated into photographs for the company catalogue and visual assets for the website.

Leveraged my architecture and photography background to explore RH furniture in contemporary architectural projects while also suggesting new ways of composing our photography.

When not illustrating, I would render our furniture into real locations. This allowed us to compose each catalogue page and figure out the lighting before the team took it to a live site to be photographed.

CATALOGUE ILLUSTRATIONS

Once a rendering was done, art, light fixtures, texture, and ambient lighting were added to set the tone of the sketch before it went to the photography set to be recreated and photographed.
