YOU MAKE ME HAPPY FOUNDATION
Bringing together my varied interests of design, photography, print, handmade goods, and non-profit work, You Make Me Happy, is my first endeavor into operating a small design business. Through an online store, YMMH provides high quality stationery goods while raising funds to sponsor children and missionaries abroad. Operating alone allows me to exercise art direction, product design, web design, photography, and business management.
BRAND & LOGO
YMMH was established out of a love to create, as a means for celebrating others, and to support friends as they traveled to serve fellow humans. In maintaining this ethos, the brand and products live within an aesthetic that is refined, yet playful and approachable. A warm, natural palette reflective of skin tones was employed for the logo, complemented by rounded imperfect shapes to further soften the appearance.

CARDS
Prior to YMMH, I had an existing love of making cards for special occasions. In order to transition to consistent production a standard card size and digital template were introduced.

In keeping with the theme of sophisticated playfulness and to introduce an element of variation, handmade Japanese paper is used to create a limited run of cards.
Aside from greeting cards, other forays include postcards and wrapping paper featuring original photography.
ONLINE STORE
Products are sold via an online store, simplifying the process of payment and increasing accessibility to our products. Using a simple grid display for the web and mobile layout allows the card designs to be the focal point.

PACKAGING
Once an order is ready to be shipped, it is wrapped in a simple ribbon thanking the client and informing them how much of their sale will be contributed to the cause. Shipping envelopes bear a simple alternate of the logo in an effort to reduce confusion in the shipping process.
